If you're a woman, especially a plus size woman, I'm sure you've took advantage of the art of illusion. For instance a push up bra, corset, or spandex.  I figured out a quick and easy way to appear to lose 10 pounds in 3 seconds.  Simply, pair a midi skirt with whatever top you like and it's magic.  Short skirts for larger legs actually makes you look bigger.  With a midi skirt it actually brings you in at the narrowest part of the legs which is a little pass the knee.  Check out the pic below to see the difference.
